Hi. I'm Margo Steinfeld, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. and have a private practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. I love working with people who are longing for a loving, passionate relationship. Much of what you struggle with in relationship I, too, have worked consciously to change in my life, allowing me to be sensitive to your process. With respect, I provide support and practical feedback to help you resolve current problems and long-standing patterns.
I specialize in relationship issues and for over 20 years I have worked with individuals and couples and facilitate psychotherapy groups for individuals and for couples. Some issues that impact relationships are stress, anxiety and fear, depression, body image issues, loss, bereavement and grief, as well as illness, parenting, care of elderly parents, and spiritual/religious concerns.
I have been presenting workshops to general audiences on topics ranging from stress and anxiety management, to co-creating effective relationships, as well as caretaking partners dealing with cancer and other debilitating illnesses.
Education: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Fordham University), MA in Spiritual Psychology (University of Santa Monica), significant training in both Eastern and Western philosophies and theoretical approaches to therapy and healing. I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP).
