Hi. I'm Margo Steinfeld, LCSW, is a Relational Psychotherapist. I specialize in Individual, Couples and Group Psychotherapy and maintains a private practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York.

With over 20 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Fordham University School of Social Work, I specialize in relational therapy and am a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are relationship issues, stress, anxiety and fear, depression, body image issues, loss, bereavement, & grief, as well as dealing with illness, parenting, and spirituality.

I have been presenting workshops to general audiences on topics ranging from stress and anxiety management,  to co-creating effective relationships, as well as caretaking partners dealing with cancer and other debilitating illnesses.

I love my work and joining people on their path to wellness and a happy, fulfilling life. I ama  compassionate,  interactive, psychoanalytic therapist. I will respectfully provide support and practical feedback to help you resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I incorporate a blend of conventional and alternative approaches. I have a long history of yoga teaching, bodywork, and body-oriented psychotherapy. Creating a safe space is primary. With sensitivity and compassion, I works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Education: LCSW (Fordham University), MA in Spiritual Psychology (University of Santa Monica), significant training in both Eastern and Western philosophies and theoretical approaches to therapy and healing. I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP).
